Counselling Cancellation Policy

Please note that cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment are subject to a cancellation fee.  Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists’ day that could have been filled by another client. As such, we require at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. 48 hours is preferred. Clients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a full cancellation fee to the card on file or be required to pay by EMT prior to their next appointment. . Insurance providers such as FNHA and NIHB don’t pay for no show or late cancellations; the client will need to pay the fee before the next appointment.

If you are low income (on EI/SA/Disability) alternatives of a payment plan or reduced fee of $75 may be arranged for the first missed appointment.
